Any polo club in the world is only as good as the facilities it provides. The concept for the Hobe Sound Polo Club was founded on this principle. The Owner/Developer of Hobe Sound Polo Club is Groves 14 LLC a partnership between Robert Whitley, Tucker Frederickson and Rockwood Capital Corporation. These three components guarantee Hobe Sound Polo Club a seal of quality that comes from years of experience and a deserved respect in the development business.

Whitley alone is nationally recognized for his expertise in the development of upscale golf course communities including several such projects carried out in conjunction with legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus. Their latest project, the Bear's Club, is located in the vicinity of Hobe Sound and was selected by Travel and Leisure Golf as the #2 Golf Course Community in the US.

As any polo player knows successful polo clubs need top quality fields. Arguably no one knows better how to produce a manicured, playable surface than a leading golf course developer.

We will bring the expertise that has been tried and tested on the golf courses we have developed, to the construction and maintenance of the polo fields at Hobe Sound Polo Club, said Whitley. We are well aware that a polo club is dependent on the condition of its polo fields in much the same way as a golf course's reputation is built on the quality of the greens. With this in mind, the fields will be built with state-of-the-art engineering from the start to ensure they bear the hall mark of quality our members and clients expect and are constructed to stand the test of time.

Hobe Sound Polo Club will have five polo fields, a well-appointed clubhouse and miles of well-tended riding tracks and trails.
